APPLICATION TIPS:
Building up the nail plate
- Wash and disinfect your and your customer’s hands. Put on gloves. Check the condition of the customer’s hands and nails to make sure that there are no contraindications for performing the procedure.
- Push away the cuticles using a stick or a cuticle pusher and work on them using bits, e.g. 9, 1.
- Use a 100/180 gradation buffer to mattify the nail plate thoroughly.
- Remove dust using a soft brush.
- Using a dust-free swab and Cleaner No. 1 cleanse the nail plate thoroughly.
- Apply the right primer (Acid Free Primer or Acid Primer).
- Apply a thin layer of Candy Base and cure in the lamp (30 seconds in the MultiLed lamp).
- Apply a second thicker layer of the base coat to gently build up the nail. You can level the surface of the base coat with a thin brush, e.g. Master Nail Art 007, or turn the hand over to use the force of gravity to shape the upper arch of the nail. Cure the design again. Due to the thicker layer of the product, you can extend the curing time up to 60 seconds in the MultiLed lamp.
- Secure the design with a top coat, e.g. Tip Top or Wet Look, and cure for 30-60 seconds.
- Wait for approx. 60 seconds until the top coat cools down.
- If you chose a top coat with a sticky layer*, remove it with a swab soaked in Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner.
- To add more shine to the nails, polish them using a dry swab at the end.
*You don’t have to wipe a top coat without a sticky layer with Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner. After waiting 1 minute, you can apply the selected Shea Elixir with keratin to nail folds.
